Fairy type to me so far is eh. I need to know if it at least has more super effectiveness on its side, or even what it's weak to.
The new Pokemon look amazing. While Vivillon is looking to be our average Bug Pokemon for the region, I can't wait to see Noivern on my team. More Wyvern Pokemon? Heck yes!
The new feature Pokemon-aime looks like they brought back the features seen in Pokemon Channel and Hey You Pikachu. I can't wait to try it out, and I'm hoping that we won't be limited when it comes to the features for it.
I know it's a new pokémon but it's obviously not it's first state and it looks quite alot like Swoobat from gen 5, so im just asking if it is it's evolution, considering Crobat was an evolution for Golbat in the 2nd gen.
I feel like the fairy type is a goodISH idea. I feel like it is a bit too late in the Pokemon world to create a new type, as older fans will have to adjust quite a bit. I think that its kinda unfair that Fairy is strong against Dragon, especially because Dragon is only strong against itself. Water type has only 2 weaknesses, and is strong against 3 types. Suddenly Dragon is weak to 3 types, but only strong against itself. But I still like the idea of Fairy type!
I LOOOOVE Noiverns design!!!!!! I'm not sure whether I like Vivillion or not....
sorry just had to get that of of my chest.... wont do it again DX well i actually like the idea of fairy being effective against dragon^^ i just wish they called it moon type or something like this since many poelpe seem to think fairy type has something to do with the moon~
but i adore the new pokemon! the bat deffinatley will be one of ,y new faves since fruit bats are my favorit animal<3 and bug is ma second favorit type so i fell in,olve with this beautiful butterfly the second i saw it *A*
Ah! I am psyched for the fairy type. I absolutely love the idea, and I think they've chosen cool Pokemon thus far for it. Especially with Gardevoir it harkens to images of elfin creatures and things that are other worldly and fae, which I am all for. I think it makes great sense that they're super effective against dragons--fae creatures always seemed to have power/sway over beasts in old tales. Also dragons in the meta game were stupidly powerful, and it'll be interesting to make things more challenging for people. All in all I'm very happy.
FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I DONT WANT RHIS PLZ TELL ME EVERYONE IS LYING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PLZZ VEERYTHING BUT NOT FAYRIE ;-; gamefrek... i hope i'd never have to say this... but for the first time ever... YOU COMPLETALY FUCKED UP FUCK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I personally really dislike Fairy type, as Water types now have fewer weaknesses than Dragons and Dragons being weak to Faries does not make sense, especially since it does not appear to be utilised in a 'fairy tale' format, but a 'pink and sparkly' format.
Also, Pokemon-aime could be good, I don't think we have enough detail yet.
Overall however, the combination of the seemingly 'pink and girly' Fairy type and the general portrayal of Pokemon-aime has made me quite apprehensive, as I have always disliked 'girly' things, so this sudden stereotypically 'girly' overload has really given me personally a negative opinion of todays reveals. It's only the beginning though, so it could get better, maybe.
Is it really any more cliche than dark, though? I just find it odd that we've had dark for generations without ever having light. And I've always viewed psychic as being more grungy, smart, telekinetic things, whereas light would be white and happiness and angels and all that jazz.
Dark-type is called the "evil"-type in Japanese, so there's no reason for a light-type. I really think they shouldn't have included any new type at all. After all the pokémon that already exist introducing another type now just seems nonsensical to me.
